Detail engineering services were provided for India’s first Corex Gas Based DRI Plant with 1.2 MTPA Capacity supplied by Midrex and Siemens VAI for JSW Steel’s, Vijaynagar, India Works. The plant include 3.5 km long DRI gas pipe line from Corex plant to DRI plant and pellet conveyors from pelletising plant to DRI plant storage bins. The DRI plant is linked to steel melt shop with hot charging facility. The engineering services also included design & engineering for entire material handling facility, utilities and electricals. ESPIC also did basic & detailed engineering for utilities, media piping, electrical lighting, earthing etc.
